Busy week but a marked change at this weekends squad session. It is really starting to feel like we have athletes who actually compete now. Looking to have 9 lifters competing at the upcoming divisional and 7 lifters competing at upcoming national/international events as well as a few people preparing for GB Squad sessions at the end of March.

Even those who are not competing imminently seem to be getting their act together and refocusing looking to put in the work.

It's going to be an interesting few months for sure. To those of you reading this who I coach, you do you and you'll get to where you want to be this year. Remember, do as I say not as I do and keep focused on that end goal.

Looking to get all 3 attempts at the British bench, likely 145/155/ 160-165, will see how it's moving on the day and have someone put in my numbers.

Training will pretty much be normal for me this week, 'heavy' bench with normal accessory focusing on bar speed and positioning, Normal deadlift session Tuesday, normal bench session Wednesday (with upper back accessory), normal Thursday squat session and rest Friday/Saturday
