About
Paul Marsh - a powerlifting coach based in London.
I am extremely proud to be able to say that I am a world class coach training out of a world class facility. I began my coaching journey at The Commando Temple in 2014 and have flourished in the challenging and supportive environment of the gym and the Greater London powerlifting community ever since. As a competitive powerlifter myself, I am able to test my coaching techniques to ensure that they are effective, and have a community surrounding me that is constantly pushing me to improve myself as a coach by every means possible.
My one and only aim as a powerlifting coach is to be anything and everything that my lifters need. I am fiercely dedicated to my clients, and strive to see them continually progress and thrive in all aspects of their training: strength, technique, ease of movement, and confidence. Every lifter is different, and each programme that I write reflects the unique individual that will be using it to shape their training. My programmes evolve based on client feedback and their effectiveness as evidenced by client progress.
My coaching is informed by a wealth of experience which I have gained through coaching a wide spectrum of athlete. I work with complete novices through to those who have grown into national and international powerlifting champions. This experience, coupled with my unwavering dedication to my athletes, has led to me being selected to coach the English powerlifting team twice. First was in 2015 at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Vancouver, Canada, and then in 2017 I was appointed the English Head Coach for the Commonwealth Championships in Potchefstroom, South Africa. I am deeply invested in the development of powerlifting within Great Britain and work to make a valuable contribution to the sport through my coaching.

My athletes hold multiple national & international records and titles (World, European, Commonwealth, British, English and Divisional records in the squat, bench press, deadlift, and total).
This does not include any of the achievements by the squad & club on the national and local scale. Not to take anything away from those, I just do not have an accurate record of them all but they date back to 2014 and include many medalists, champions and best lifters at all levels every year since.
